Leah Mabel Hull of Barry, Illinois, passed away on March 27, 2025 at the age of 96. She was born April 10, 1928 near Siloam Springs to John E. and Nellie (Walmsley) Potter. She married Marvin N. Hull in Beverly on February 5, 1950 and they celebrated 75 wonderful years of marriage and memories together. He survives.
Leah graduated from Liberty High School in 1946 and worked at Moorman Manufacturing in Quincy until her marriage. She then became a farm wife and stayed home to raise her family. She was devoted to her grandchildren and attended all their events. She always ended visits and signed birthday cards with "I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck." She was a wonderful cook and hosted many family celebrations, serving specialties like homemade crescent rolls and noodles.
She was a life-long and active member of the Fishhook United Brethren Church in Fishhook, Illinois. She had also been a member of the Beverly Home Extension and the Adams County Farm Bureau Prime
