Penny Lynn Stille Breuer, 79, of Quincy, passed away at 9:55 am Monday, January 27, 2025, at Sunset Home in Quincy, IL.
Penny was born November 25, 1945, in Quincy, IL to Alvin and Edith (Peters) Stille. She was married to Junior Breuer and from this union they had two children, Julia and David.
She was a 1964 graduate of Quincy Senior High School and later furthered her education at Spoon River College. She held a variety of jobs prior to establishing "The Penny Dressmaker," a tailoring business in Canton, IL, that not only served the community but also showcased her passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Penny's interests were as vibrant and varied as her personality. She found solace in the serenity of her gardens and the simple pleasure of being outdoors. She was rarely still, as she was often found sewing, a testament to her lifelong passion. Bowling was another joy in her life, and she cherished the camaraderie and friendly competition it brought.
