Barbara M. Gooding, 85, of Camp Point, passed away at 10:50 am Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Timber Point Healthcare Center in Camp Point, IL.
Born April 28, 1939, in Quincy, IL, Barbara was the daughter of David and Irene (Crouch) Powell. She was married to Kenneth Leroy Gooding on January 21, 1955 in Palmyra, MO. He preceded her in death on February 23, 2015.
Survivors include her three children, Cheryl Burgtorf (Warren) of Quincy, IL, Chris Leroy Gooding (Crystal) of Swansea, IL, and Carson Gooding of Quincy, IL; one son in-law, Dusty Hogan; five grandchildren, James Stark Jr. (Jennifer), Amanda Adcox (Sam), Casey Stark, Jennifer Harbison (Donnie), and Jonathon Gooding (Kati); sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one daughter, Cindy Hogan.
