Emily Ann Lewis, age 82, of Quincy, died on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 4:16 am in her home.Emily was born March 16, 1942, in Geneseo, Illinois, the daughter of William J. and Marie Anderson Cederberg. She married David Glenn Lewis on June 16, 1990, in Vermont Street United Methodist Church, Quincy, Illinois. He survives.Emily graduated from Cambridge High School, Cambridge, Illinois, and received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. Emily was an elementary and special education teacher for the Quincy Public Schools at Lincoln and Washington schools.Emily was an active member of Vermont Street United Methodist Church. She played in the Hand Bell Choir for many years and served on various committees. She was most recently serving on the Care Committee. She was also a member of PEO Chapter FH-MK, the Adams County Retired Teachers Association, and the Adams County Old Tyme Association. In addition, she had enjoyed volunteering at Blessi
