Jack L. Hoskins, 98, of Quincy, passed away at 3:15 pm Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy, IL.Born on June 21, 1926, in Barry, IL, Jack was the beloved son of Lawrence and Josie (Trussell) Hoskins. He was the devoted husband of Patricia McNett, whom he married on December 18, 1960, in Quincy, IL. Patricia, his partner in life and love, preceded him in death just shy of a year earlier on March 6, 2024.He is survived by a host of family members who will miss him dearly, including his cousins John Kelley (Ines), Christi May (Bob), John T. Kelley (Megan), Misti Kelley (fiancé Dwayne Baum), and Joy Gray (Carl), all of Quincy. He will also be fondly remembered by his nephew Larry Hoskins of Texas, niece Peggy Worker (Herb) of Lake of the Ozarks, MO, and special friends Jane Baucom (John), Jeanne Zurweiler, and Nancy Bookout.
