Joan Darlene Wilson, age 82, of Quincy, Illinois, passed peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus. The veil between Heaven and earth was opened on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 4:20 a.m. Her children and grandchildren were able to be with her in her final hours loving on her and praying over her as her earthly suffering ended and her beautiful eternal life in God's heavenly realm began.Joan was born April 7, 1942, in Michigan City, Indiana, the daughter of Joseph P. Rupsis and Cecile B. Vogeley Rupsis. She married the love of her life, Paul Wilson, on June 15, 1963, in Michigan City, Indiana. On the very first night they met in the summer of 1960, Paul told his buddies that he met the woman that he would spend the rest of his life with. He has been anxiously waiting for her at Heaven's gate since March 2, 2022.Joan received her associate's degree in accounting from John Wood Community College in 1994.
